A transfer between your accounts is not new income
Matching both sides of an owned-account transfer prevents cash-flow totals from counting the same money twice.
Moving money from one account you own to another changes its location, not the total amount you own.
Find both sides
Compare exact amounts, currencies, dates, and account ownership. Fees remain separate expenses even when the principal transfer matches.
Mark the outgoing and incoming records as one money flow.
Do not merge records when the evidence is incomplete.
Keep the original bank descriptions visible.
